The conservation of native species is important. We want to preserve their ecosystem and protect endangered or endemic species.

Our tours are only available on a seasonal basis, due to the nature of the tour.

Departures scheduled on Tuesdays: May 15, 22 and 29; June 5 and 12.

Route GR223 Camí de Cavalls: Cavalleria – Binimel-là, 3 km.

We will start in the morning according to schedules and the pick-up points shown in our booking calendar. (see below)

We will meet with our plant therapist guide who will share his great knowledge about plants, their medicinal uses, popular names and legends.

We begin the journey along the north coast to Cavalleria one of the best conserved areas of the island’s coastline. This is an area declared by the European Union as a Site of Community Importance. The discovery tour takes place in the coastal region, where we visit the plant community of La Camamil.la or Balearic chamomile, in its natural habitat.

The excursion will consist of a tour of the Balearic chamomile habitat, a medicinal plant very dear to the island with a long tradition of uses and applications. We will walk gathering, with respect and with the necessary permissions, some corsages to develop a useful chamomile oil for muscle tension or use fresh flowers and dried flowers to create infusions or teas, make eye drops and soaps.

We will have free time to rest, relax or swim. Picnic lunch included.

The trek ends aprox at 4 pm at Binimel-là beach, located in the heart of the Marine Reserve, where the coach will pick us up at the car park.

The price includes: roundtrip transportation by coach from the designated pick-up points, plant therapist guide, picnic lunch, and a gift essence bottle.

REMEMBER:

  • respect plants and animals and follow the instructions of our guide
  • use the marked paths
  • do not leave the garbage
  • use shoes suitable for hiking
  • use sunscreen, hat and carry a bottle of water
  • in the parking lot of the Binimel-là beach there is a restaurant
